Therapy

Individual Therapy

We offer individual therapy, which is a form of therapy in which the client is treated on a one-on-one basis with a therapist through creating an individualized treatment program supported by scientific research.

The most commonly used and supported form of treatment for OCD is cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), particularly exposure and response prevention. We also incorporate mindfulness-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy or ACT.

Teletherapy

We offer teletherapy and telephone sessions through HIPAA compliant platforms. Teletherapy can help break down the barriers to care and make help more accessible, efficient, and affordable.

Overall, the research supports that teletherapy is as effective as traditional face-to-face therapy for a range of circumstances.

Therapists are ethically and legally bound by privacy laws to not share details about their teletherapy sessions with third parties, just as with face-to-face sessions.
